Experience
Dr Benedict focuses on the treatment of cancer survivors, helping them navigate the long-term physical, emotional, and interpersonal challenges. Her counseling focuses on women's health issues ( including sexual and reproductive health). She also leads the Women's Sexual Health & Cancer clinic within the Center for Integrative Medicine. With a focus on young adult cancer survivorship, Dr. Benedict acts as the Program Advisor to the Stanford Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer (SAYAC) program. Her research focuses on improving cancer survivorship through an enhanced understanding of long-term effects, unmet needs, preferences for support, and through the development of patient-centered behavioral interventions.
